Project Objective

Intexa Projects partnered with QeCAD to digitally transform a range of fencing and barrier products into precise, standardized technical drawings and 3D visual representations. The primary objective was to convert conceptual and semi-developed inputs into accurate digital deliverables that could support product visualization, client presentations, approvals and downstream manufacturing or installation processes.

Project Summary

Scope of Work

Scope of Work

The project comprised the following key buildings and features:

  1. Preparation of detailed 2D digital drawings for multiple fencing and barrier types

  2. Development of elevation plans highlighting dimensions, profiles and design intent

  3. Creation of 3D models and views to clearly visualize fence configurations and components

  4. Standardization of drawings to ensure consistency across different product variants

  5. Alignment of digital outputs with architectural drafting standards

Client Inputs

→ Hand-drawn sketches illustrating fencing concepts and configurations.
→ SketchUp base models serving as preliminary geometric references.
→ Written markups and design notes specifying dimensions, materials and variations

Project Description

The project involved converting Intexa Projects’ conceptual fencing designs into high-quality digital drawings. QeCAD’s architectural drafting team carefully interpreted the client’s sketches, base models and annotations to develop accurate 2D plans and visually rich 3D
representations. Each fence type was modeled individually to ensure clarity, precision and ease of understanding for stakeholders. The digital drawings were structured to support multiple use cases, including internal reviews, client approvals and technical documentation.

Challenges Encountered:

→ Interpreting varied and non-uniform hand sketches into standardized digital formats.
→ Maintaining dimensional accuracy across multiple fence types and design variations.
→ Ensuring consistency between 2D drawings and corresponding 3D views.
→ Translating conceptual inputs into production-ready architectural drawings.

Output Delivered:

→ Fully detailed 2D elevation plans for all specified fencing products.
→ Accurate and visually clear 3D models and views for enhanced product visualization.
→ Individual digital drawing sets for each fence type, ready for presentation and execution.
→ Consistent, high-quality deliverables aligned with commercial architectural standards
