CHD approached QeCAD to support a kitchen remodeling project at Hamilton Island by developing the high-quality 3D renders. The objective was to visualize the proposed kitchen design through three distinct design/view variants thus enabling the stakeholders to clearly understand the renovation outcome before execution.
The project comprised the following key buildings and features:
Development of photorealistic 3D renders for the same three views
Accurate representation of furniture, finishes, colors and spatial layout
Iterative refinements based on the client’s feedbacks and approvals
Creation of grey (draft) renders for three different kitchen views
To ensure accuracy and design intent, the client provided:
→ Overall design concept and vision.
→ CAD files of kitchen plans and elevations.
→ Furniture schedules along with the color options.
→ Actual site photographs (the apartment had been damaged by a cyclone)
→ Detailed design instructions and continuous guidance
Using the supplied CAD drawings, design inputs and real-time site photographs, QeCAD first developed the grey renders for all three kitchen views. These draft visuals helped in validating the spatial planning, proportions and layout accuracy.
Upon approval of the grey renders, the project progressed to the detailed 3D rendering. Our visualization team carefully integrated the furniture elements, material finishes, wall treatments along with the soft furnishings to create the realistic and immersive kitchen views. The final renders provided a clear and compelling representation of how the remodeled kitchen would appear upon completion.
