The client approached QeCAD to create high-quality, photorealistic 3D exterior renders of a villa using Cinema 4D with Corona Renderer. The objective was to achieve a visually compelling representation that closely resembled real-world conditions, despite the absence of conventional architectural drawings.
The project comprised the following key buildings and features:
Creation of a complete 3D villa model from reference images
3D exterior rendering with realistic materials, lightings and environmental elements
Application of Corona shading to enhance realism and depth
Iterative refinements based on the client’s feedback
The client provided limited but essential reference inputs, including:
→ Reference images indicating the overall design intent.
→ Visual cues for material palette and finishes.
→ General expectations for realism, mood and environmental context.
No architectural plans, elevations, sections or dimensional drawings were provided.
This project presented a unique challenge as the villa had to be modeled and rendered entirely from the reference images, without access to the floor plans, elevations or dimensional data. Based on the provided imagery, the QeCAD team meticulously interpreted the proportions, architectural massing and façade details to develop a detailed 3D model.
Once the base model was established, the photorealistic exterior renders were created using Cinema 4D and Corona Renderer. After reviewing the initial draft, the client requested for further enhancements to elevate realism, specifically focusing on natural imperfections and environmental detailing.
→ Adding structural depth and subtle imperfections to wall surfaces
→ Enhancing the ground plane with grass stalks
→ Introducing realistic outdoor elements such as dirt, stones and scattered leaves
These refinements were carefully incorporated to create a more authentic, lived-in visual
experience.
→ Absence of architectural drawings or dimensional data
→ Reliance solely on the visual references for modeling accuracy
→ Achieving realistic proportions and material behavior without any technical documentation
→ Incorporating natural imperfections while maintaining visual balance
→ High-resolution photorealistic 3D exterior renders of the villa
→ Realistic material textures with subtle imperfections
→ Enhanced landscaping elements, including grass, dirt, stones and foliage
→ Final 3D Model that accurately conveyed the client’s vision and design intent
