Project Description

The project involved developing the proposed condition model for a residential development at 13 Tennyson Street, Australia. As per the client’s requirement, the focus remained on modelling the proposed design rather than capturing the existing site conditions in detail.

Built on the design layouts shared by the client, the architectural model was created to reflect the spatial, functional and regulatory intent of the development. All drawings and documentation were prepared in accordance with the Council submission standards and SDA compliance requirements.

Overview:

With an area of approximately 645 sq. meters, the 13 Tennyson Street project demanded precision, compliance and seamless coordination. The architectural discipline drove the project, ensuring that each drawing—from site planning to detailed schedules—supported an accurate and regulation-ready submission.

The resulting model and documentation played a crucial role in streamlining the approval process and enhancing clarity for all stakeholders.

Challenges:

Ensuring full compliance with SDA standards while working solely with the proposed design layouts

Maintaining accuracy without detailed existing-condition data

Aligning all deliverables with Council documentation requirements

Achieving clarity, consistency and completeness across a wide set of drawings within the tight timelines

The final project package included a well-coordinated Architectural model and a comprehensive Council drawing set.

The deliverables consisted of Cover sheet, Notes, Site plan, Landscape area calculation plan, Landscape plan & schedule, Site Analysis, Notification plan & Elevations, Perspective views, Shadow diagrams, Strom water layout, Sediment and erosion plan, Ground floor plan, Roof plan, Elevations, Sections, SDA compliance plan, Door and Window schedule.
